IRISH OWNED, SIMPATICO BAR BISTRO GALLERY  opened in November 2007in a central location of Mindelo, Sao Vicente. We are located within walking distance of the marina mindelo and sports fishing club.

 The bar  has since evolved into SIMPATICO sports bar in 2015, with a 4 televisions broadcasting most of your favourite sports. We offer a wide variety of fresh foods and drinks to suit all tastes. In particular we are famous for our XXL MOJITOS, CHICKEN WINGS, PIZZAS AND STEAK ON THE STONE.

 

The comfortable terrace offers views of the children's park and marina . Our staff are trained to a high level of service and we now rate ourselves amongst the best bars /restaurants in Mindelo favourite amongst locals, tourists, ex pats and emigrants.

 

We offer hi speed broadband wi fi which again is quicker than offered in most local establishments, especially important for sailors wishing to download their maps for their forward journeys. We also pride ourselves in assisting clients with any queries they may have here in relation to this island.

 The owner is the honorary local  representative of the cruising association  and also assists in a number of on line sailing platforms with local knowledge and assistance.
